Maileen Mamaradlo ('21)

At-Large Board Member

At PEERS, a mental health nonprofit in Alameda County, Maileen brings her unique perspective by integrating H.O.P.E (Healing from Our Pasts and Expectations) to tackle Asian American stigma towards mental health. Drawing from her own experiences as a child of Asian immigrants, Maileen's journey has shaped her into the passionate advocate she is today.

Before joining PEERS, Maileen excelled at San Jose State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and a Minor in Atypical Child Studies in Spring 2021. Her impactful roles in organizations like Braven, San Jose State Associated Students In Solidarity Network, and Asian Pacific American Leadership Institute (APALI) highlighted her dedication to DEI, social justice, and mental health outreach for marginalized communities.

Maileen's commitment to making a difference, coupled with her diverse background, makes her an invaluable asset to our board. We are thrilled to have Maileen on our board as she continues to drive positive change in our communities and beyond!
