Arronoel Ashby-Rosellon ('17)

Communications Director

Born and raised in Monterey/Seaside, CA, Arronoel pursued his education at SJSU earning a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Legal studies, graduating in 2017. He is a strategic and innovative communications expert, a health equity advocate driven by a love of community who has a passion for social justice.

Arronoel currently works at Stanford University School of Medicine as the Communications Manager for the state’s Perinatal Quality Collaborative, CMQCC/CPQCC. He also serves as a voting member for the LGBTQ+ Subcommittee at Stanford Medicine. Prior to his current position, he led communications and design strategies on breakthrough health equity-focused issues at Health Affairs, the nation’s #1 health policy research journal based in Washington, DC.

His passion for health equity started at his first job out of college with the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) in Oakland, CA, where he gained valuable experience mobilizing Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities through digital advocacy campaigns. We are thrilled to have him join our team and can't wait to see the positive impact he will make in our community.
