Lloyd is a proud SJSU alum and an even prouder resident of the South Bay. He graduated with an MS in mass communications from SJSU in 2018 and completed his BA in sociology at UC Santa Cruz. Lloyd is a Copywriter and Content Creator at Santa Clara Family Health Plan, and previously, he was a reporter for San Jose Spotlight, covering San Jose City Hall, local government, and local politics.

Lloyd has also freelanced for San Jose Inside, Metro Silicon Valley, and the Milpitas Beat. He is passionate about local news and its ability to shed light on underprivileged communities. When he's not working, he loves to do anything related to trivia (especially watching Jeopardy!), running , visiting bars, writing, playing with his Siberian Husky, and spending time with his family. We're thrilled to have Lloyd join our board!
