Alan previously worked at the Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits (SVCN) as an advocate and coalition builder for nonprofits. He was also a Civic Engagement Organizer with LEAD Filipino. He currently serves as a Board member of South University Neighborhood (SUN) Association. As a 2023 graduate of New Leaders Council Silicon Valley Chapter, Alan worked alongside cross-sector leaders to advance progressive and equitable change throughout his community. Alan is also the Founder of FAN SJSU. He hopes FAN will serve as a valuable resource in strengthening SJSU’s Filipinx college-to-career pipeline. When he is not busy empowering his community, Alan enjoys being a boba aficionado, an avid news junkie, and an AMC A-list Stubs Member. We look forward to seeing all the great things Alan and the board will do this year!
